Heart Disease Kills More Women that the next 16 Causes
of Death:
We all have mothers. Many of us have sisters, daughters
and friends who love us all their lives. Sometimes when
they need help there is none or little available. We solicit
your help in raising money for a charitable cause. To
donate towards the Women’s Heart Foundation, a 501 c3
organization incorporated in 1992 that is dedicated to
helping women who have suffered from heart conditions.

- In the United States, all cardiovascular diseases
combined claim the lives of more women every year
than the next 16 causes of death combined. - Nearly twice as many women in the United States
die of cardiovascular diseases than from all forms of
cancer combined. - Under age 50, women’s heart attacks are twice as
likely as men’s to be fatal. - Heart disease is the leading cause of death of
American women, accounting for 32 percent of all
deaths per year. Nearly 366,000 women in America
die every year of heart disease. - There is no previous evidence of coronary artery
disease in 63 percent of the women who suddenly
die from the disease.
