Rather than including recognizable objects in his work, Charles uses the elements of painting itself – color, line,
shape, brush strokes, texture, and light. And his use of mixed media Charles could be said to be working under
the umbrella of abstract expressionism. Although not wanting to give his works such a specific label, his paintings
bare a great similarity with the aims and style of such work.

Charles Lee graduated from Portsmouth University in England 2001 with a BA Honors Degree in graphical media and
Fine Art. He has been selling his art all over the world to private buyers and has completed a prestigious show in
Los Angeles Bergamot Station, at the James Gray gallery, at the beginning of 2008, one of the biggest art industry
complexes in southern California.
